The Unscriptables offer improvisation and acting classes for all experience levels. Whether you are looking to hone your skills for the stage, improve your communication and presentation skills, or just have fun in a safe creative environment, we have what you need.
Classes are designed by Master Instructor Trenton Shine, who has over 25 years of teaching, directing and performing experience. Trenton has studied under some of the top improvisational teachers in the world: Keith Johnstone (author ofImpro, Creator of Theatresports) Brad Sherwood (Whose Line is it Anyway?) Gary Austin (founding member of The Groundlings) Stephen Nachmanovitch (author of Free Play) Randy Dixon (Artistic Director of Unexpected Productions). Trenton has a gift for pulling out the best in his students and performers.

Improvised Storytelling - is a 6 week class to teach you the art and fun or improvised storytelling.
We will learn how to tell great stories, learn character work, bringing out the truth in your comedy, and expand your knowledge of improv. The Unscriptables are known for great stories, learn our secrets. (must have taken Introduction to Improvised Storytelling or an equivalent from some other shcool)

Genre Long Form - Film Noir - is a 5 week class ending with a performance. The Unscriptables is famous for it's genre based long form, Trenton Shine the Artistic Director will be teaching. This class is designed for improv performers, and is great for both short form and long form improvisors. This class will have homework on top of class time.

It’s all about being inside the moment, becoming present, and truly reacting. This workshop will use a blend of acting and improvisational techniques that range from Meisner to Spolin. This class is designed for actors and improvisors who want to be better actors. This is what separates the wheat from the chaff an actors ability to deliver truth on stage. Techniques in this class will focus on making honest choices that come from your own truth.
This class can be taken as many times as you wish. Repetition of classes is encouraged, and will allow you to dive deeper into the curriculum. All classes are taught by master teacher Trenton Shine.
